  1. From the list select the report you want to change, and click on the Change button (instead of the normal Print button.) The View Archive Reports checkbox option enables all archived reports to be viewed.

The General Settings Option

  1. Description : This is the name of the report.

  2. Archive : Tick this on if you do not intend to use this report, or if you intend to use it only infrequently. TNA 4 contains hundreds of reports. In order to keep the list that you see manageable most of the reports are Archived. Therefore you should Archive reports that you don't use.

  3. Notes : Enter any report-specific notes here.

The Options Settings Option

  1. Send To : Set the default destination for this report. You can set a specific printer, file name or Email address. Or use the most common default, which is to send the report to the screen.

  2. Landscape : If the report should be printed in Landscape mode then tick on this option.

  3. Number of Lines per page : Adjust this number to match the length of paper, and font, that you are using.

  4. Font : Click on the ? button to set the font for the report.

The Format Settings Option

  1. Type : Reports are designed for people to read, Payrolls are designed for other programs to read.

  2. Format : Text format is easy to read, very compact, and prints extremely quickly on almost all printers. It's also the best format by far for dot-matrix printers. PDF is a great format if you intend to Email, or archive the report, as it preserves it's own formatting.

  3. Category : In each of the main modules is a Print button on the toolbar. If you click on the one in the User module, then a list of all the TNA reports pops up. If you're in the Access module then the list only contains Access reports, and so on.

  1. Once changes have been made, select the   button to save the changes.
