Most browses (i.e. view employees or view clockings) can be sorted by selected columns. By mouse left-clicking on the relevant header, the view will be sorted according that column. Use the ctrl-key with the mouse to select multiple columns and the shift-key with the mouse to reset the columns.

A macro script value which can change from time to time can be defined as a setting which operators may change by using the "P variables" for payroll macros and "D variables" for daily shift macros in the following format: P1=Start Time,@T6.

You can print any report in HTML format by setting the viewer to Html in the report format option. You must also tell the report engine to format the report for html by adding the tag <pre> to the first printable detail line in the report. You do not have to define the field in the report - the tag will be sufficient.

Create you own toolbar in TNA by holding down the Ctrl key when clicking on a menu item. That item will be added to you toolbar.

An easy way to allocate excess time to normal time or overtime, is to use the TNA time authorisation feature. Make excess the holding category for normal time or overtime. Authorise excess to fill up normal time or overtime when required.

You can import clockings or costing events captured via a PDA by using TNA's text import device feature. Save the information in the PDA's i.e. Excel program and synchronise with the workstation. TNA will import the data automatically.

Change a clocking's direction quickly and easily from the view clockings screen or browse employee's clockings, by using the shortcut key [Ctrl-A] on the keyboard.
